Issues
The biggest issue facing us today is the economy. In North Missouri, that breaks down into four parts: healthcare, education, agriculture, and local business.

The two largest employers here are in healthcare and education. It’s very simple: Invest in healthcare and higher education; economy goes up. Cut funding for education or healthcare; economy goes down.
The other two parts are very important on their own: small business and agriculture.
Agriculture is the backbone of our economy. Out farmers are extremely important.
Small businesses, local businesses, are vital to our region.
In the House, Rebecca serves on the healthcare, higher education, agriculture policy and budget committees. She champions small business and encourages investment in our community, such as the HIT DNA lab. She also fought for the funding to keep the Missouri Enterprise Rural Innovation Center open.
No one can match her experience on the issues that matter most to us in North Missouri. And she is getting results for us: new jobs, cutting government waste, and encouraging investment in the region, both public and private. We’re facing some tough times in North Missouri, and Rebecca is leading the way to a healthy economy.
